A mere sample of his acting credits include; Airwolf, Mission Impossible, The Brotherhood and Stagecoach…For his acting roles in Westerns he has been awarded a Golden Boot and he has also received a nomination for the coveted Golden Laurel award.
He has acted alongside Bing Crosby, Edmund O’Brien, Red Buttons, Van Heflin, Roy Scheider, Ernest Borgnine, Kirk Douglas, Telly Savalas and more, and is the envy of most men having shared on set embraces with Britt Ekland, Ann Margret, Diana Muldaur, Shirley Eaton and Mariette Hartley to name but a few. To this day Alex Cord still retains the presence and charm that has been making fans swoon for decades.
There have been video games based on his characters; Lego models immortalize him as does his place on the Western Walk of Fame in Newhall, California.
He is one of Hollywood’s most respected horsemen and has been a regular competitor in the Ben Johnson Pro-Celebrity Rodeos raising money for children’s charities. He is also one of the founders of the Chukkers for Charity Celebrity Polo Team which has raised more than $3 million for worthy causes.
Alex Cord has also become a master of the pen and as an author currently resides within the Timber Creek Press stable. He has published Novels including; Sandsong, Days of the Harbinger and A Feather in the Rain, which is shortly to be created into a movie and already boasts the endorsements of Sylvester Stallone and Harrison Ford.
