The KVB have been quietly releasing slabs of droning guitars, minimal synth melodies and reverb drenched vocals since 2010.  Minus One  was recorded in the band’s own studio over 5 days in 2011. During the live show, the band programs visuals to match the audio, hypnotically alluring one’s consciousness and physical body in and out of textured illusions.
Handpicked by Brian Jonestown Massacre’s Anton Newcombe to be on his A Recordings label, The KVB are currently in Newcombe's Berlin studio working on a new EP for release in January 2014. After recording, the duo will perform a string of European dates, including ATP's End Of An Era, which will be ATP’s final Camber Sand's festival in November 2013. In December, they will support Brian Jonestown Massacre on their Australian Tour and shortly after, The KVB will embark to Brazil for their first shows in South America.
Nicholas Wood initially started the KVB as a solo project in 2010. The debut release came in the form of a limited edition cassette tape ( The Black Sun ) on cult underground labelFLA Records in May 2010.
This was followed in 2011 by a series of acclaimed releases; including a 10” vinyl EP onDownwards Records ( Into The Night ) and another limited edition cassette, this time onClan Destine Records ( Subjection/Subordination ).  After frequent collaborations through the year, Kat Day joined The KVB permanently on synths and visuals in late 2011 and this was shortly followed by the first-ever live show in London at the Shacklewell Arms.
The KVB’s schedule got even busier in 2012, with the release of their first full length LP, Always Then  (Clan Destine Records) which piqued the interest of the UK music media with Thefourohfive.com claiming “The KVB have just delivered your album of the year.”
The band headlined multiple European tours in support of the record, with shows in Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Greece, Spain etc. As well as a West Coast USA tour in June and July 2012, including a set at the Part Time Punks Shoegaze Festival in Los Angeles.
In February 2013, The KVB released their second full length LP  Immaterial Visions  viaMinimal Wave sub label, Cititrax, along with an accompanying remix EP, featuring remixes from underground techno pioneers Regis and Silent Servant. This was followed by more extensive touring, including shows in Russia and Ukraine.Tjinder Singh and Ben Ayres of Cornershop’s label, Ample Play, released the digital single, “Run Away” on September 30, 2013.
