Mockers, Scorners and Calamity - Repentance, Reconciliation and Restoration

SAY NO MORE as God Himself through circumstances will NOW swiftly speak. Mark my words as historical evidence from "this day".

"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live" (Deuteronomy 30:19).

They mocked Jesus too and crucified Him (see Matthew 20:19; Mark 10:34), but He rose from the dead.

Wine is a mocker and strong drink raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise (Proverbs 20:1)

Hypocritical mockers ...gnash on me with their teeth (Psalm 35:16)

Don't be a mocker lest your bands [yoke of bondage:] be made strong (Isaiah 28:22).

God is a jealous God visiting the iniquity of fathers upon the children unto three and four generations of them that hate Him and showing mercy to thousands of them that love Him [God:] AND keep His commandments (Exodus 20:5-6).

Jesus said, "Blessed are the merciful for they shall find mercy" (Matthew 5:7).

But as for the proud, beware. "Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who deals in proud wrath" (Proverbs 21:24).

"A scorner does not love one that reproves him: neither will he go unto the wise" (Proverbs 15:12).

A wise son hears instruction...but a scorner will not hear rebuke (Proverbs 13:1)

Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate you: rebuke a wise man, and he will love you (Proverbs 9:8).

He that reproves a scorner gets to himself shame: and he that rebukes a wicked man gets himself a blot (Proverbs 9:7).

But "cast out the scorner and contention shall go out; yes, strife and reproach shall cease" (Proverbs 22:10).

I sat not in the assembly of mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of Your hand: for You [God:] have filled me with indignation (Jeremiah 15:17).

Mockers in the last days will walk after their own ungodly lusts (Jude 18).

"Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favor" (Proverbs 14:9).

"I [God:] also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear comes. When your fear comes as desolation, and your destruction comes as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish come upon you. Then shall they call upon Me [God:], but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find Me; for they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord. They would none of my counsel: they despised all My reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices." (Proverbs 1:26-31)
