EBOOK Piracy is NOT a Victimless Crime!

PLEASE DON’T SUPPORT THIS CRIME. What if YOU worked for two years, 18 hour days, 7 days a week, only to have someone take your work and give it away without your permission? All the while, you’re trying to support your family? Please spread the word! Illegally sharing ebooks has a REAL IMPACT ON REAL PEOPLE.  And if you’re a working writer mom, like me…feel free to post this on your own page just like I have!  http://www.mimijean.net/

Annette I don't understand why people can't just buy the book. Its not expensive. I support you Mimi!

Janine Pezzino I absolutely agree, however, I do wish it was easier to share ebooks legally. More than once I've lent someone a paperback of an author I really like, and they have gone out and bought the entire series.

I totally agree. And something I really really don't understand is why sometimes an ebook costs the same or even more than a paperback or even a hard cover.

yep totally agree there... i can lend and let friends or family borrow my paperbacks but never my ebooks?? oh yeah only if the lending thingy is authorized...and also I read with friends and we take turns in buying books because at the speed we read, we would be broke by now, but the lending feature is not on every book so.. something should be done because it also provokes piracy
