"I'm going to call him squishy, and he shall be mine, and he shall be my squishy."

I'm posting today because I have great news! I am taking part in a...I'm not really sure what it is. It has a name but I can't think of it right now.
Anyways, it is in honour of Alex Cavanaugh's newest book! I reviewed his first book, CassaStar, the one that made me cry. It was the first in a trilogy, of which CassaStorm is the last book. (I haven't read book two yet, but book one is one of my favourites. If you haven't read it yet you should do so!) And now, Mr. Cananaugh and his book!

If you lived in space would you be an explorer, a pilot, or a soldier?
Probably none of them! I’d be the geek who worked on the computer systems for the flagships. Or on a moon base or station. I wouldn’t fly off into battle, that’s for sure.

From the Amazon Best Selling Series!
A storm gathers across the galaxy…
Commanding the Cassan base on Tgren, Byron thought he’d put the days of battle behind him. As a galaxy-wide war encroaches upon the desert planet, Byron’s ideal life is threatened and he’s caught between the Tgrens and the Cassans.
After enemy ships attack the desert planet, Byron discovers another battle within his own family. The declaration of war between all ten races triggers nightmares in his son, threatening to destroy the boy’s mind.
Meanwhile the ancient alien ship is transmitting a code that might signal the end of all life in the galaxy. And the mysterious probe that almost destroyed Tgren twenty years ago could return. As his world begins to crumble, Byron suspects a connection. The storm is about to break, and Byron is caught in the middle…
