TRAVIS KICK OFF NORTH AMERICAN TOUR THIS WEEK
NEW ALBUM WHERE YOU STAND DEBUTS IN TOP 100
Travis are thrilled to kick off their North American tour this Thursday September 19th, in support of their acclaimed new album Where You Stand which debuted in the Billboard Top 100.
Currently on a world-tour, Travis, one of the UK's best known bands, return after a five year hiatus with an impressive new album full of the cinematic pop that first caught the attention of critics and music fans on their breakthrough album "The Man Who."
Rolling Stone raves Travis "returns full-force with the new album Where You Stand... the band's balanced instrumentals and smooth harmonies sound both fresh and familiar ... the merry melodies prove that the Scots' latest album was worth waiting for."
USA Today goes on to say, "the band's first album in five years marks a return to form, with robustly atmospheric, sometimes anthemic tunes ... the mix of purposefulness and grace is refreshing." The AV Club adds,"Where You Stand, is a lovely reminder of just how good the quartet is at what it does."
