Gringo Star To Release New Album Floating Out To See On October 22Stream "Going Way Out" Now At Paste.comFall US Tour Dates Announced
 
Atlanta-based psychedelic rockers Gringo Star are excited to announce the release of their newest album Floating Out To See on October 22, via the band's label My Anxious Mouth Inc. The album will be initially released digitally with a vinyl and CD release to follow in November. The album was produced, engineered, and mixed by Gringo Star and recorded at Studio 234 in Atlanta. Floating Out To See follows the band's first two records, 2008's All Y'all and 2011's Count Yer Lucky Stars, which were both engineered by James Salter and produced by Ben Allen (Animal Collective, Gnarls Barkley, Deerhunter).

Gringo Star will be touring in support of Floating Out To See this fall, beginning a US tour on September 28 in Kansas City, including dates along both coasts and in the south and Midwest. Since their inception, Gringo Star has toured relentlessly across the U.S. and Europe building a diehard underground following while sharing bills with everyone from Cat power and Feist to The Black Angels and Weezer, and also touring with Wavves, Best Coast, And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead, The Toadies and fellow Atlantans The Black Lips.
