Paypal Sending Money FAQ - Merchant Services, Receiving Money and More

I use paypal to receive payments and send payments. It's a great service and can be used worldwide.

However one problem I am currently trying to resolve as a merchant is stated below:

Paypal tech support over the phone today lacked knowledge, put me on hold numerous times to speak to a "specialist" (which obviously she was not) and still failed to provide accurate information.

I asked how to receive a client's payment who does NOT want to sign in / sign up for a paypal account.

It seems this is NOT possible.

You can easily send money using PayPal to anyone with an email address through the "Send Money" tab on the "Account Overview" page. The recipient does not even need to have an account previously established!* If you have a PayPal account, you can send money by following these steps:

1. Log in to your account at https://www.paypal.com/.

2. Click the "Send Money" tab.

3. Choose "Pay Anyone" or "Pay for eBay items."

A. If you chose Pay Anyone, complete these fields:

� Recipient's Email Address or Phone

� Amount

� Currency

� Category of Purchase

� Email Subject and Note fields are optional

B. If you chose Pay for eBay items, click "Pay" in the Action column.

4. Click "Continue."

5. Review the details of the payment, including the payment method. If the payment you are sending exceeds the amount of funds in your PayPal account, click the "Change" link to change the source of funds for the payment.

6. Click "Send Money" or "Pay" to complete the payment. To change any information, click "Change."
� Please note: If you change your payment details, the payment method will return to the default method of payment.

If you do not yet have a PayPal account, you can send money by following these steps:

1. Visit https://www.paypal.com.

2. Click the "Send Money" tab.

3. In the SEND MONEY box:

� Fill in the recipient's email address or phone number
� Fill in your email address
� Fill in the amount in U.S. Dollars
� Select the appropriate purchase category
� Click the "Send Money" button

To complete your payment, you must create a PayPal account. To create an account, follow these steps:

1. Enter your first and last name.

2. Select your credit card type.

3. Enter your credit card number, the expiration date, and your card security code.

4. Enter your address, city, state, and ZIP code.

5. Enter your telephone number and your email address.

6. Enter and confirm your PayPal password.

7. Enter the code shown in the box.

8. Click the "User Agreement" and "Privacy Policy" links.

9. Click the "Agree & Continue" button.

10. Review your payment details.

� To edit any information, click the "Edit" button

� To cancel the payment, click "Cancel"

11. Click the "Send Money" button.
