I was going to say it's the same for me but then it got me thinking. The funny thing is, for whatever reason, while I really enjoy dark series and psychological thrillers and don't mind violence at all, and also like to read post-apocalyptic or dystopian stories, I don't like reading stories actually set in the midst of war. I find them to be too depressing no matter how well they're written. Kind of strange to think about.

Me too! It's the best when it doesn't end about half a book early and coast the rest of the way on platitudes and inanities. I like it when my heart races until the end :)

Dammit, Sue! You are not going to allow us to see crazy? I LOVE crazy! LOL. Vic

Hey I'm not stoopid! This wasn't fun cooky crazy. This was "OMG, apparently Sue has a couple of thoughts in her head and she can't figure out how to get them out" CrAzY %#$!
I will say though that the words 'hot young dude' managed to find themselves in the mix ;)

LMAO. EVERY MALE, is a hot you g dude when you're as old as I am. I use a whole bottle of concealer in one day's worth of putti my face on. Reading books IS my sex life. LOL
,Special Forces and Cut & Run. I don't know the dystopia versus war versus, FBI matters. What DOES matter is the characters burying themselves in my heart and mind in that all consuming way that makes me want to do harm to whomever tries to interrupt my reading.
