  Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, Wiz Kid Management, ABSOLUT, and GŌST bring together the music and fashion communities to raise funds

WHAT:   Benjamin Curtis of Vagrant Recording artists School of Seven Bellswas diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma earlier this year.  He is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments and will be undergoing a bone-marrow transplant procedure later this month.

Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, Wiz Kid Mgmt, ABSOLUT® Vodka and New york-based creative agency GŌST have partnered to curate a benefit concert to raise funds for Curtis’ extensive medical bills and lengthy recovery time.  Paul Banks of Interpol and Albert Hammond, Jr. of The Strokes will headline the show.  Both artists will perform music from their solo projects. Hannibal Buress will perform a stand-up comedy set between musical acts and comedian Ray Ellin, host of LateNet with Ray Ellin, will be the master of ceremonies.  Alexa Chung, DJ MomJeans aka Danny Masterson, and Fabrizio Moretti of The Strokes w/Devendra Banhart will spin throughout the night. Hudson Clearwater will provide catering.

During the event, guests will be able to bid via a silent auction on items and experiences donated by top-tier artists and brands including Radiohead, Tory Burch, The Black Keys, The Strokes, Tommy Ton, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Regina Spektor, Drew Barrymore, Vampire Weekend, Ryan McGinley, The Hives, John Varvatos, New York Rangers, David Cross, Inez & Vinoodh, Adam Green, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Zachary Quinto, The Late Show with David Letterman, Phoenix, Vincent Gallo, Portishead, Interpol and Questlove. Guests must be in attendance to win the auction items above.

Bidding begins today at Noon Eastern for additional premiere auction items at charitybuzz.com/benjamincurtis.  The auction will end on Thursday, September 5 and includes autographed guitars from Coldplay, Jonas Brothers, Passion Pit and Brian Bell, comedy and sporting event tickets, bags by Philip Lim, clothing worn by Julian Casablancas, tickets for tapings of Saturday Night Live and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, plus much, much more.
