Hello world!

Hello world,

I’m new to blogging and not entirely comfortable with it but I’ve been assured it’s the way we writers do things now, so here goes…

I’ll be blogging about my books, my writing, my thoughts on things such libraries, any appearances and media events I might have coming up and other things that take my fancy.

I won’t be talking personal stuff – what a relief! – but I will be posting photos of the tapestries I work on. I don’t sell these but as my house is beginning to creak under the weight of them it will be nice to give them some virtual space to strut their little wooly stuff. I’ll be writing more about the kind of ‘free-hand’ tapestry I do. I’m on a mission to rescue wool from restrictive rules.

There you go, that’s my small blog launch. Off for some chocolate now.
