First little piece of free-hand tapestry I did.

This is the first tiny piece of free-hand tapestry I did a few years ago. I sewed it onto a tiny calendar to use on my desk. I got better at them and pretty soon all my friends got variations of tapestry calendars for Christmas. Whether they wanted them is another thing entirely. I have improved a lot since then.
