One month to go!

Well, today the countdown really begins - it’s exactly one month until UK publication of Lockwood & Co: The Screaming Staircase! Not only that – as if by strange coincidence, the first copies of the book have just arrived hot-off-the-press from the printers. 

To celebrate, I’m delighted to have twenty copies of theUK edition to give away to twenty super fans…

All you have to do is guess how many times the word ‘ghost’ appears in the main text of the book. Post your guess on twitter using the #lockwood hash-tag or post your guess on my facebook wall (www.facebook.com/jonathanstroudauthor). The competition closes on Wednesday morning, 09.00UK time, at which point I’ll choose the nearest twenty guesses and those lucky people will get a copy of theUK book before anyone else in the world has seen it!
