That worked - great interview (that first part sounds so familiar, except that my encouraging prof was Joanna Russ, and it took me over 30 years to listen to her.)

I don't think anyone but another writer understands how hard it is to open up one's head like that and let strangers poke through what they find in there. I'm glad you had Joanna Russ, and I'm glad you listened to her when you were ready.
