Prologue nearly complete! OCD kicking in!

I have almost completed the prologue to book two, which I want to put up on this website ASAP to lure more people into my web!

But I'm really getting distracted OCD style by my book icon. It is not appearing right on the goodreads site, and I don't know how to fix it. It says I need to be a librarian or something. Sigh. If anyone knows how or can fix it so it looks better, please help me out!

In other news ...

For those select few who know what I'm talking about -- and care -- the sequel will feature Inspector Drexler and Lady Christiana as the hero and heroine. They made appearances as supporting characters in Prince of Hearts. I have been toying around with their story for quite some time now, and had even written about one hundred pages -- but this was several years ago. The story line has changed dramatically since that early draft, and most of the material is unusable. But I had a few epiphanies just this past week, and I'm trying to push through my writer's block and get the visions in my head down on paper (ipad) before I lose momentum.

I am a musician in real life, and I have to start back with my really intense master's degree program in the middle of August. I have classes, TA-ing, private lessons with my own students, plus 3-4 hours of practicing a day to look forward to. Damn you, Prokofiev! I won't have a lot of time to focus on my book when my program begins, so I am hoping to have most of my book written by then! Since I have self published on a whim this summer and have been getting such great feedback, I'm feeling super encouraged and motivated. I just hope I can follow through and deliver!

But, alas, I am easily distracted.

Project Runway's new season just started, for one. For another, I spend way too much time checking my stats on this website and on Amazon. Not a whole lot changes, but I can't seem to help myself. Every time I see another review has been added or another person has purchased my book, I get ridiculously excited.

And I keep getting engrossed in my Korean Dramas. I need help. They are super addictive and AWESOME. As are Japanese Dramas. And Taiwanese Dramas. If you guys haven't watched any Korean/southeast asia telly, you are missing out!

Coming soon: my top ten favorite K-Dramas, and how Shakespeare influenced all of them!
