Dying to Live Vampire Anthology Authors Revealed — No “Sparklers” Allowed
Diabolic Publications LLC, has posted the author lineup (in no particular order) for their upsoming DYING TO LIVE vampire anthlogy (cf. March 9). To quote from their Facebook announcement (courtesy of Suzie Lockhart), “[t]hese stories have a high creep factor written by some of the best horror writers out there. To farther quote from the original guidelines: “We are looking for dark Vampires, of the old fashioned kind! Erotica is acceptable as long as the vampires drink human blood, bite, kill and so forth. We are not looking for love story type vampires.” And, perhaps most important of all, “please do not send any stories about vampires that sparkle!” At latest note the anthology is scheduled for a Halloween release date, October 31 2013.
My story in this is called “The Preacher,” set in New England in the latesh 19th century. And those were the days when nobody sparkled.
