TI Head Coach Terry Laughlin talks Open Water Swimming

It’s opening day for the 2013 season at Lake Minnewaska in New Paltz NY, Terry’s favorite ‘swimming hole.’ Terry describes how he plans to swim, working on Stroke Efficiency (counting strokes along the 200-yard line), Stroke Tempo (using a Tempo Trainer) and the search for his ‘neural threshold’ (the combination of Stroke Length and Rate to which his nervous system is currently adapted.
