Snippet

I unfortunately forgot to post a snippet last week. Things got a little crazy and I didn't post the snippet, so here you go:

Snippet: 
"I only know of three places within driving distance of here that have magic free zones. Safe houses we called them."
She tilted her head to once to one side and then the other, reminding him very much of a curious puppy or a bird present with something shiny. Her lips curled into a hungry smile as she leaned forward and braced her arms against the tabletop. Bran found himself mimicking her actions, leaning forward and smiling as well.
"Do you happen to remember how to get to those places? Would any of them happen to be near water or small dark places?"
He pondered that for a moment, of the three only two might fit those descriptions, but he shook his head and frowned.
"If they have one then surely they would not need the other two as well. As you said it could be almost anywhere."
She was already shaking her head as he finished his sentence. She glanced around again, using only her eyes so as not to give herself away.
