Book Signing

June 25th, I returned to my hometown  for a book signing at the Sterling, Illinois, Public Library. It was very humbling to be asked by your hometown to return as a children's author. Several classmates came for support. Amazing!!  The event went well, and reading Quackers Wants to Fly to the children in attendance was thrilling.

What I most enjoyed were two ladies who came strictly to network about their children's books. They wanted to learn what steps should be taken to help get their books published. There I was, a first time author, having this conversation. Awesome. Networking with peers about writing or any other passion, is so rewarding. It's the connections we make in life that stand out and help pursue one's goals.

Terri Lynn There is nothing quite so wonderful as meeting others- whether kids or adults- who have a love for children's books.
