Welcome to my new blog!

I have had blogs in the past but have been really lazy about writing and updating. But all that has changed! I will be better this time. I promise.

For starters, I have published a novel, Cora the Unwilling Queen, and I have the sequel on the way. I want to give readers a better way of staying in touch, and I have been lax with my website. Blogs are easier. SO much easier.

Also, and maybe even more importantly, I am traveling again! My first trip is in less than 2 weeks and I will be headed to the lovely country of Costa Rica to assist in sea turtle and nature conservation. I am SO excited. I haven’t left the country for over a year and my passport is getting dusty. Then, at the end of August, I will be returning to Shanghai, China, where I will teach yet again.

So, in summary, I need a blog more now than ever. I will keep readers updated on the important aspects of my life like travel, books, food and fun. Especially food. Did I mention that I love discovering culinary delights everywhere I travel?
