Watch Washed Out’s New Lyric Video For “Don’t Give Up”The Second Single From Paracosmhttp://youtu.be/8lYbBROpZ6o

We are very excited to share Washed Out’s “Don’t Give Up”, the second single and new lyric video from his forthcoming album, Paracosm. Where lead single “It’s All Feels Right” embraces ‘60s pop and psychedelia, the exquisite ”Don’t Give Up” seamlessly melds the use of organic instruments and synthetic sounds into a subtle, yet driving dancefloor ready track. Watch here.
“Don’t Give Up” comes hot-on-the-heels of the wonderfully received lead single, “It’ All Feels Right”. SPIN says of the track: "[“It All Feels Right”] is lush with diverse instrumentation and flush with vintage exotica vibes, perhaps as refracted through the Avalanches' sampledelic kaleidoscope. The dreamy orchestral affair fittingly celebrates warm weather and pleasant escapes — throwing its hat in the ring as an early contender for Anthem of the Summer".
Washed Out’s previously announced month-long, late summer tour in support ofParacosm begins August 24th in Monterey, CA at First City Festival and runs through September 23rd in Carrboro, NC at the Cat’s Cradle.  Please find updated tour dates below. There will be additional dates to come.
Washed Out’s Paracosm, the follow up to his critically-acclaimed debut album, Within and Without, will be available on CD, LP and digitally on August 12th in UK & Europe via Weird World and in North America on August 13th via Sub Pop Records.Paracosm, led by the single “It All Feels Right,”  was recorded by Ernest Greene with returning producer Ben Allen in Athens and Atlanta, Georgia.

The album is also available for pre-order at Sub Pop's Washed Out page and at the Washed Out Store. More on Washed Out’s Paracosm:The music recorded by Ernest Greene as Washed Out has been nothing if not dreamy, but for his second full-length, he’s taken the idea of letting your mind wander to another state a huge leap further. On Paracosm, the Georgia-based musician explores the album’s namesake phenomenon, where people create detailed imaginary worlds. The concept has been used to describe fantasy lands like Tolkien’s Middle Earth and C.S. Lewis’ Narnia, and it’s at the heart of the 2004 documentary In the Realms of the Unreal about outsider artist Henry Darger (read more at Sub Pop).
