New short short – The Mascot

I’ve just started attending a local writer’s club and as part of that I’ll be writing a very short story each week as homework. I’m not sure if they’re really long enough to be called flash fiction being 500 to 1000 words but they’ll be too short to publish as ebooks so I thought I’d post them here. Here is the first, ‘The Mascot’.
