Movie Review: The Hobbit

I finally got around to watching Peter Jackson’s The Hobbitthis weekend and so I thought a review was in order.

Honestly, this was one of the dumbest movies I’ve ever seen. I’m a huge Tolkien fan and loved the LOTR trilogy enough to use the cool abbreviated version of it in a sentence. In fact, my first experience with the book The Hobbit in sixth grade made me what I am today: an unhireable former English major.

So needless to say, I had some expectations. Expectations, sadly, that were woeful...
