If you could travel in time would you go forward or back in time?
I'm torn. I'm a big history buff, so I would love to visit ancient cultures (Egypt, Rome, Greece, India). But I'm a sci-fi fan as well and a glimpse at the future would be mind-blowing.
So what got me thinking about time travel? Well, fellow SFR author, Heather Massey (of
The Galaxy Express fame) has done a great post over at
Heroes and Hearbreakers: Have Tech, Will Travel: Big List of Tech-Based Time Travel Romances. Here's a snip:
There are two general modes of travel in time travel romances: magic/paranormal (e.g., magic amulet; portal) and scientific devices (e.g., time machine). As a fan of science fiction romance, I gravitate toward the latter. The ability to manipulate the sands of time using mechanical devices is a fun concept. And placing that kind of technology in the context of a romance doubles the entertainment.
