Review: The Light Of The World by Tara Brown

My review:

I enjoyed The Light of The World by Tara Brown. I've read a lot of paranormal romance. This tale had a few characters in it I'd never heard of, which made my reading experience that much better.

The author's voice is easy to read, the characters interesting, and the pace fast. Did I mention the book reads fast? Yeah… Hold onto your seats, folks because once this baby takes off, it doesn't slow down. A lot happens during the second half of the book and I found I couldn't read quite as fast as I usually do, otherwise I would have missed things.

There are two men in Rayne's (the female lead) life: Wyatt and Constantine. I struggled a bit with Rayne's relationship with Wyatt. The two are natural enemies, but harbor a fair amount of lust for one another. They had a back and forth tug-of-war with their feelings and actions that at times frustrated me a little.

I felt Rayne's relationship with Constantine was more believable. I felt their chemistry right away, and I liked him almost instantly.

Lots of world building in this one, with unique creatures and an interesting take on fallen angels. Read it slow and you'll get a lot of enjoyment out of it!
