Q. What was your favorite scene/part in the Fallen series?

A. I loved writing the epilogue at the end of Rapture. No part of the series flowed as easily from my fingertips. It took me until the very last moment, but when I got there, I knew this was the only way the series could end. I loved pulling in elements from Luce and Daniel’s epic past into a sweet introductory scene in the new world their love created.


Q. Are the characters in Fallen based on real people?

A. Luce is based on my oldest, closest friend. Arriane is an amalgamation of all the “crazy” pals I’ve gathered in my life. Daniel isn’t based on anyone I’ve ever met; instead his character developed out of Luce’s character. I wanted him to fill in the space around her, to fit her perfectly. Cam, the devil, is based on my husband.
