My latest release, A Strict Husband, is now available on Amazon. It was released by Blushing Books on June 1st as part of their 'Here Come the Brides Month'. A Strict Husband is a historical western spanking romance, and it's the sequel to A Firm Husband , but the two books can stand alone.

Excerpt:

Legs turned to liquid, Mattie struggled to follow Henry through the house as he gave her a quick tour through the darkness. By the light of a lantern, it seemed homey yet larger than she imagined. Until today she’d only glimpsed his home from the outside. Her eyes widened when he turned to face her at the bottom of the staircase. Silence permeated the house as he held her captive in his powerful gaze. She gulped as anxiety surged through her.

“Do not be afraid, Mattie.”

She stuck her chip up. “I’m not afraid of anything.” The lie tasted bitter and she momentarily feared his reaction to her haughtiness.

A grin spread across his face. “You’re not a very good liar, Mattie. I suggest you learn quickly to tell the truth, otherwise you’ll be facing some rather unpleasant consequences.”

There it was. His first threat and proof that Elliot had in fact paired her with a cruel man.

She huffed. “Fine. You want the truth? Elliot wanted to punish me, so he decided to marry me off before I was ready – without giving me a say in who my husband is. I hardly know you. Of course I’m afraid.” She bit her bottom lip to stop its trembling. Feeling powerless and vulnerable at the same time had her coming undone.

The lantern he held flickered yellow light over his features as she held her breath, waiting and waiting and waiting for a response. The dark blue eyes she’d admired earlier appeared pitch black. She gasped when he grabbed her wrist and began leading her upstairs.
