Tortoise Paced Progress

Each time I write a blog post, I seem to make predictions that I cannot keep to, so I won't be making any this time, just a quick update keeping things short and sweet!
I am now 73 500 words in Draft One. I feel the book is really taking shape now and the characters are coming to life more and more. There are significant Chapters still to be written and the impression I get is that I am probably two-thirds of the way through. I have given up trying to write a short book, I don't think I am capable of doing it!
