After months of dithering, I've finally taken the plunge and started Cat Grant's Alley Cats - aka, my own street team.
I stole the idea from indie publishing phenomenon Tina Folsom. It's pretty cool, and pretty basic - I send readers some swag (pens, postcards, etc.) to help them pimp out my books to new readers. In exchange, street team members get the low-down on my new projects before they're officially announced. They also get super-special stuff such as signed paperbacks and cool T-shirts.

I'll be having some of these shirts made up this summer, and I've got a couple more cool giveaways in store. :)
So, I've hung out my shingle. Head on over to the team's Facebook page and sign up - and if you know of anyone else who'd like to join our motley band, send 'em over.
