Figuring out a damn newsletter template. Suffice it to say, I am not terribly tech-savvy...

But finally, TRIUMPH!! My very first newsletter is now formatted and ready to go out tomorrow morning. Email me @: cat@catgrant.com if you want to be added to my mailing list.

I'm also looking for a few intrepid readers to join my street team! Pimp out my books to your friends and relatives and get cool swag and special previews of my works-in-progress! Email me if interested.

After months of dithering, I've finally taken the plunge and started Cat Grant's Alley Cats - aka, my own street team.



I stole the idea from indie publishing phenomenon Tina Folsom. It's pretty cool, and pretty basic - I send readers some swag (pens, postcards, etc.) to help them pimp out my books to new readers. In exchange, street team members get the low-down on my new projects before they're officially announced. They also get super-special stuff such as signed paperbacks and cool T-shirts.

I'll be having some of these shirts made up this summer, and I've got a couple more cool giveaways in store. :)
