And Then I Read: GREEN LANTERN 19

Sinestro gets the life choices revamp from the First Lantern this time, but Sinestro in the hands of Geoff Johns is always interesting, and that’s true here. If there was ever a character who walked the tightrope better between hero and villain, I can’t think of him (or her). Torment seems to be his lot no matter what happens, or if he’s not being tormented, he’s tormenting others, yet there are good intentions at his center. Meanwhile, Hal Jordan is still trapped in a limbo of some kind, among the dead but not dead himself. Desperate to escape, he tries the ultimate gambit.

The art by Ardian Syaf and Szymon Kudranski and a trio of inkers is quite good, a little looser than usual on this title, but appealing.

Recommended, though I’m really ready for the end of this crossover.
