Pat Bertram Nanette, my grief is too new -- he died only three weeks ago, but I have heard that yes, the grief does come back, sometimes years later, and almost knocks you out. Apparently, you never get over the loss of a loved one, you just learn to live with it, but sometimes long after the death, you re-experience that initial pain.
