South Africa at the bedside of Mandela

Nelson Mandela aka Madiba is in hospital. Every time he goes to hospital South Africa shudders so much so that the Presidents's office assures everyone  that  he is doing well. Nevertheless we need to recognise that he is no longer young, that he is not well and is likely to die sooner rather than later. Zapiro drew a powerful cartoon with a speech bubble saying " I know its hard but we have to start letting go". After some thought the editors at The Times thought it better to take the speech bubble away and that one was eventually published.
