He tells the clan even though the well is under water, it still needs to be protected. Druid Daly raises his staff and points it at Gordana. Lightning strikes her, releasing the magic...

Gordana screamed withering on the ground as bright energy encased her body, shifting it, changing it. Bones popped, elongated, and skin stretched, darkening to gray as an enormous creature with a long neck and tail emerged.
Druid Daly spoke again. “Ye have failed to guard the well in yer human state. Ye shall guard it in a more suitable skin.”
Ronson’s eyes widened in fear as he stumbled back. A woman grabbed Gordana’s child less he be trampled by the monster Gordana had become.
“Ye cannae do this,” Alan said as he pushed his way through the crowd.
