C. Robert Cargill is the author of the new fantasy novel “Dreams and Shadows,” and the screenwriter of the horror film “Sinister,” starring Ethan Hawke. Cargill talked to me about his evolution from movie-loving kid, to journalist, and now, novelist and screenwriter.
