Join me in Celebrating Read an E-Book Week March 3-9. My new release, Venetian Love Knots is an e-book, and I love reading e-books. I still read the paper ones occasionally, but I read digitally more and more.

I remember years ago when the Kindle first came out and Oprah had it on her “favorite things” list at Christmas time. I wanted one so badly, but it bothered me that it was only in black and white. I read a lot of blogs and I knew I’d want to see them in color. Same with magazines. So I held out and didn’t buy one.

But the instant they announced the Kindle Fire would be in color – I ordered myself one as a Christmas present for myself. Now it’s my favorite piece of technology!

Read an E-Book Week started in 2004 when e-books were relatively new and had a difficult time getting promotion from larger media outlets. Read an E-Book Week educates and informs the public about the joys and advantages of reading electronically.
