Ms. Simone, I will be at EEC this weekend- would it be strange if I asked you to review my art portfolio? This would be the first time I would be going to a con and having something to show. If not, can you recommend any artists who would give good advice

I am happy to look at your portfolio, I just ask two things;

1) It might be best to wait until it’s slow at my table. I get pretty swamped at SDCC, so you might want to look for a time when I am not busy so I can give you the proper attention.

2) Keep in mind that I am NOT an artist at all, the perspective I would give you is what writers look for in artists. And please try to have some sequential pages if you are looking for doing that kind of work in comics, okay?
