Nothing Like A Bit Of Naked Truth…

Calisa Rhose has nominated me, ME, for the R.E.A.L.I.T.Y Blog Award. I am so giddy and beside myself. Yay me!!!

Calisa has been like a princess in a glittery tutu for me, showing me the way on this exciting yet often scary little trail of published author-dom. I shoot her a message and there she is, all glittery and full of advice. And she’s been an amazing support ever since I joined The Wild Rose Press as an author… I wish I could meet her in person and hug her (maybe some of that glitter would rub off on me!) Calisa Rhose is the author of Home, a romance where an unlikely love is formed between a gypsy and a Vietnam war veteran. She is also the author of Risk Factors, where she shows the reader that “Love, like life, is not without risk.” Check out Home and Risk Factors by clicking HERE.

So thank you for nominating me, Calisa. You are the BEST princess in a glittery tutu I have ever met!

The rules of the game is to visit the blog of the person who nominated you, thank them, and acknowledge them on your blog.

And the questions are:

If you could change one thing, what would you change?

I’ll start with what I can and will always change on a daily basis. My undies. My grandma always told me, you got to wear clean underwear. You can’t change much in the world, but you can change your underwear. My aunt reminded me just the other day how my grandma used to say that to us. Ha ha! My grandma was a hoot. She was a tiny little Polish woman, with a massive set of lungs and would sing her face off while frying the best fried chicken I’ll ever eat in my life. Ever. Hands down.

If you could repeat any age, what would that be?

I’ll tell you what age I wouldn’t repeat, and that would be ALL OF HIGH SCHOOL. Sheesh, girls were vicious back then! Regular war zone, I tell you! I think for sure I’d repeat me at 18 years old. I would have left my home town and went straight to the university instead of trying the cheaper route of community college. I would love to have that experience, and to have “gotten out.” Ha!

What is the one thing that scares you?

Mama. Have you seen that her? I implore you to watch this video (never). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRqS6pBC42w

I didn’t get very far with the video. Mama is one sick, twisted B-I-T-C-H. Yes. It is okay to spell it out that way. It’s almost like not saying the B word at all. Someone told me that once.

But if you want me to be serious for a moment (this is rare, please enjoy) then I will tell you the thought of anything ever happening bad to my kids scares me. I’m one of those moms who really, really freaks out over little things. They are my world.

If you could be someone else for the day, who would it be?

I could never be anyone but me. However, I could be me, but richer so I could actually afford to write. Bwah-haha!!!
