I absolutely love your books, but I just have one question. Why did you decide to write Vlad's books in Leila's point of view? It was a little disappointing. We know Vlad and I was looking forward to gettig inside his head. In this book it just seemed like Leila was the main character and we were getting to know Vlad along with her.

Sometimes that's with multiple points of view (First Drop of Crimson, Eternal Kiss of Darkness) and sometimes it's with a single point of view (Cat's pov in the Night Huntress series and Leila's pov the Night Prince series). Whether this works is, ultimately, up to readers to decide, but I can only do what I think is best and hope that more people than not enjoy the results.
Thank you for your quick reply, I wasn't expecting it. I really enjoyed the book, but Vlad is such a mystery I just wanted to know what he was thinking and what he was doing when he would disappear. You're one of my absolute favorite authors, and I'm really looking forward to reading Cat and Bones. I miss them!
I love the book trailers! Do the folks who make the trailers read the book first? Do you get any input into the trailer making process? Also, I'm so glad that you picked Vlad to write a series around. I imagine that it was really difficult to tackle such a well known character, but I really like your spin on him. He was definitely a character I was always glad to see in the Cat & Bones books.
Jeaniene- I for one don't need a trailer- if it involves one of your great characters, I'm so there! Just waiting for new Vlad and Up From The Grave.
Yeah I'm with Susan, I don't need a trailer. If Jeanine wrote it, I'll buy it. I'm hanging out for the new Vlad myself.
I love them all..keep those books coming! Great stories, and I love the characters, verbal exchanges, kick ass scenes...I read them over again when I crave a good scene..like when bones didnt die and came back..or the short story of the guy that claimed to be family....love them all!!! :)
