Roe v Wade's Class and Racial Divides

On the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, Sarah Kliff of the Washington Post looks at how the demographics of those receiving abortions have changed.When first legalized, it was mainly white and well-off women seeking abortions. Since the mid-1980s, though, this group has been on a downward trend, while the number of minorities and poor women seeking abortions have been steadily increasing.
