Roe v. Wade, Sarah Kliff of the
Washington Post looks at how the
demographics of those receiving abortions have changed.When first legalized, it was mainly white and well-off women seeking abortions. Since the mid-1980s, though, this group has been on a downward trend, while the number of minorities and poor women seeking abortions have been steadily increasing.
