A Broader View of Health Care

We tend to be dazzled by breakthroughs in medical technologies. But often the greatest benefits come from public health measures -- seatbelts, or the ban on lead paint -- and from increasing access to the medical system. And increasing access is the reason we desperately need health care reform to pass this year.
