I'm Writing Again!

Over the last couple of years, having spent the previous two writing 'Forever Is Over', in my spare time, I have been promoting the book. Reviews on the whole, have been very positive and ebook sales, for a first novel, have been very encouraging (currently topping 48 000). Over the last few months though, I have watched sales start to dip and slowly realised, for now anyway, FIO has probably peaked and I need to concentrate on writing my second book.
So, book number two is under way. I have written around 27 000 words of the first draft so far. It is a bit all over the place, but I just want to write it as the ideas come into my head and I can re-organise it in a later draft. It is not a seismic shift in style from FIO, so hopefully those who enjoyed FIO will also enjoy this but I accept those who didn't are unlikely to like this either. I was advised by a high profile literary agent to "stick to what you are good at" and obviously I am not intending on trotting out a carbon copy, but the writing style will be very similar. Hoping to have the second book out by the summer, but will keep you updated on here!
