I could go on boring you with more blahblahblah about my new book that came out last week, but I'd rather rhapsodize about my new space heater:

You have NO IDEA how good it feels to walk around my apartment and NOT FREEZE! To sit on my couch writing and not have to wear fingerless gloves!
Yes, I know - I live in California, so what am I complaining about? What most people don't know is that January & February in California are what's commonly known as (in California, anyway!) COLDWETGLOOMYSTAYINDOORSUNTILSPRINGMONSOONSEASON. And this Cat needs her WARMTH!
In case you want a heater of your very own, it's a Lasko 741320 ceramic tower (which means you can use it on carpet!) with a handy dandy remote control. Costs about $50 on Amazon (though I got mine at my local Ace Hardware).
Now if you'll excuse me - time to go back to writing while I sit here all nice and toasty warm! :-)
