The Book Is Done. What’s Next?

Greetings everyone,

I hope everyone is well on their way to a happy and prosperous new year.

So my latest novel, The Perfect Choice was released on Dec 27. It was a labor of love, but it was also a lot of hard and tedious work. I had to meet a self-imposed deadline and writing twelve hours a day everyday doesn’t leave much room for anything else. Needless to say, I was elated when it was finally done and uploaded on Amazon.

However, now that it’s over, what’s next? I promised myself that I would take a break at least for a while, but I have to admit, it’s difficult. I believe I’m addicted to writing. Now, I spend a few hours of the day on marketing and promotion, participating in the obvious, facebook, twitter, etc. I am also writing my next novel. Soul Custody 2 Devon Returns.  

What do you do after your book is done? How do you promote your book? Do you have any suggestions that have been successful? How much time do you take off between books?
