Do You Procrastinate?
Christmas is almost here and 2013 is just around the corner. Are you ready for the new year?
I'm not speaking of resolutions--we all know how quickly those are discarded. Do you have your house in order?
Admittedly, I have a touch of OCD, so 2012 will not be over for me until the IRS accepts my returns, but aside from that, all the little things I need to do to slide effortlessly into the new year are done. My files have been updated, old receipts, statements, etc. moved and replaced by spanking new ones. Any necessary paperwork for the aforementioned taxes have been set aside. My desk has been cleared of all accumulated debris. (Where does it all come from?!) Most importantly for me, as of my next paycheck, all outstanding debt will be paid. I HATE starting a new year in debt! I have even set up an IRA.
