Is the Web a Publishing Medium?

With all the talk about e-books and e-readers, I think we have forgotten about the Web as a publishing medium. Although many people publish “blogs” (like this one), that’s not what I am talking about. I’m talking about traditional publishing. Books. Page-turning fun.
