Grimm End #13: The Gauntlet (Beta Edition)
When Bramwell entered the living room, no one noticed. Kask was sitting on the couch with Sara questioning her about what she heard. Daniel and Thomas were quietly talking by the window. Bramwell cleared his voice.
“The staff has checked the house from top to bottom. Your grand-daughter is definitely not here.” He told.
“Thank you, Bramwell.” Kask said. “It was a long shot.”
“Is there anything more you would like them to do?”
“No. Nothing more that can be done right now.” Kask told him. “Thank you.”
“We have to do something.” Daniel spoke up from the end of the room.
“What do you suggest?” Kask asked.
A knock on the front door interrupted them. Bramwell left the room to answer it.
The four of them stared at the open door into the front hall, waiting to hear who it was. There were low voices as Bramwell greeted the visitor and then footsteps as they crossed the hall to the living room.
