Venus Smurf My karma must be really, really bad. Why else would my favorite author publish another book when I don't get paid for three more weeks and so can't order it yet? I've clearly flipped off too many old ladies, and now the universe hates me.

I'm not complaining, though. I'm actually really excited about this one, because it's one of the few I didn't get to read in the amateur version. And at least I know what I'm getting myself for Christmas, right?

Nenia Campbell B'awwwwww. <333

I probably shouldn't tell you that I have like twenty more stories planned, then, huh? XD

message 3: by Venus (new)

Venus Smurf Why, God? WHY?!?!?!

Just kidding. I'll only hate you if you publish them all before my next paycheck, or, you know, before the sequel to Cloak and Dagger. Have I mentioned how much I want the sequel yet?

message 4: by Nenia (new)

Nenia Campbell Bahahahaha. Maybe once...or twice.

I only have five pages so far. I'm going to have to write the whole thing from nothing haha. ;___;

But I definitely do want to publish it. Because, like you, I agree that the series needs closure. And smexing. And Adrian to die (although that may or may not happen, considering what a snake he is).

Venus Smurf Wha????? Five pages? It's official: God hates me.

I'm definitely going into panic mode now. Feel free to picture me curled up in a fetal position, crying, because that's precisely what I'm doing. At least I know you won't forget about the book, because I'm going to nag like no tomorrow until it's done. Your other books are amazing, but there's just something about this series that has me hooked.

And though I apologize in advance for said nagging, at least you know you're loved. I mean, I'm edging a little too close to needy, obsessive stalker, but when you're done being creeped out, maybe you'll feel a little flattered, yes?

message 6: by Nenia (new)

Nenia Campbell I feel very flattered! I'm just sorry I don't have better news for the president of my fanclub. Please don't curl up into the fetal position? D:

Hopefully at least one of those twenty resonates with you enough to keep you somewhat complacent. ♥

I'm not in a fetal position, but only because I just went and begged, borrowed, and stole enough money for the Horrorscape book. It's now ordered...and I'm giggling again, because who wouldn't? This is awesome.

message 8: by Nenia (new)

Nenia Campbell Oh god... hahaha. Well, that certainly makes my day--though I don't want anyone's house to be foreclosed or anything! Gah, now you've got me giggling too.

If you get hooked on Horrorscape, you're in luck because I actually happen to have that entire series already written. :P

message 9: by Venus (new)

Venus Smurf Okay, I ought to pretend I'm going to have self-control and wait until I actually get paid before I get those others, but I won't. Excuse me while I go lift some wallets, won't you? I have to start scrounging for cash early.

message 10: by Nenia (new)

Nenia Campbell Don't worry--they aren't published yet!! Bahaha. I still have to rewrite them. And edit. Boooooo.

But yeah, GM's character has been completely revamped. I wrote him as, like, the Anti-Christian-Grey.

HE'S TOTALLY CRAY-CRAY.

Venus Smurf Is Christian Grey the guy from Fifty Shades? Yeah, still haven't read that one, because I don't do porn, but from what I've heard, making him the opposite of a pervert who can't maintain a normal relationship is probably a good thing.

Cray-cray? Ha! That's still so stupid it's funny.

Just be sure to let me know when the others are out. You know I'll be getting them!

message 12: by Nenia (new)

Nenia Campbell Oh, GM is a pervert who can't maintain a normal relationship, but instead of angsting about it, he REVELS in it. He is, in his own way, as psychotic as Adrian Callaghan, if not more so lol. (He's younger than Adrian, more testosterone.)

*clears throat and sings in Katy Perry voice* "Ca-li-for-nia slang, it's undeniable! Hecka, hella, cray-cray legit!"

I will do that!!! Assuming you don't beat me to the punch.
