Getting Ready for Reading
I'm doing my very first author reading at the "In the Shadow of Poe" event at NYU on Friday!
Slowing down is my big hurdle right now. Apparently, I have to give the audience a chance to think — and most of all picture, what I'm describing. I'm a fast talking, highly caffeinated New Yorker so this is a challenge.

My performer friends are teaching me how to slow down. By the time Friday arrives, I may have to move to Texas! LOL... I've been told to slow down so they can imagine what I'm talking about... hee hee hee... Writing can be a bit like acting.
